Does my trailer or vehicle come with a warranty?
All our new trailers and vehicles come with a standard manufacturer's warranty for your peace of mind. To ensure this warranty remains valid, it's important that the trailer or vehicle is serviced regularly in line with the specific guidelines set out by the manufacturer. Keeping up with routine maintenance not only protects your warranty but also helps keep your purchase in safe and reliable working condition for years to come. Please check the individual brand pages to determine the specific warranty offered on your chosen model.

Are used trailers and vehicles checked before sale?
Yes. Every used trailer and vehicle we sell is inspected and prepared by our service team before it goes on the forecourt, so you can buy with confidence. Where applicable, we also provide service history and any relevant documentation at handover.

What brands do you stock?
We work with a range of leading manufacturers across both trailers and vehicles. Our trailer line‑up includes equine, car transporter, box, tipper and refrigerated trailers from well‑established brands, and our vehicle stock is rotated regularly. Take a look at our individual brand pages for the most up‑to‑date list or get in touch and we'll talk you through what's currently available.

Can you order a specific model that isn't in stock?
Yes, as authorised dealers we can place factory orders on most models, with a wide choice of specifications, colours and options. Lead times vary by manufacturer, so the best thing to do is contact us with your shortlist and we'll confirm availability and timescales.

Do you service trailers and vehicles?
Yes. Our workshop carries out servicing, repairs and safety inspections on all the makes and models we sell, and most other brands too. As NTTA members, our trailer servicing is carried out to the highest industry standards and to manufacturer specification.
Servicing & Maintenance
How often should my trailer be serviced?
We recommend a full service annually or every 6,000 miles (10,000 km), whichever comes first, in line with NTTA guidance. Trailers used heavily, commercially, or for transporting livestock may need more frequent inspections. Keeping up with servicing is also essential for maintaining your manufacturer's warranty.
Servicing & Maintenance
How much does a service cost?
Service prices start from a competitive base rate plus VAT and vary depending on the size, age and specification of your trailer or vehicle. Once we know what you've got, we'll provide a clear, no‑obligation quote up front.
Servicing & Maintenance
Can you carry out repairs and supply spare parts?
Yes. Our workshop handles everything from routine repairs (lights, brakes, tyres, bearings, floors) through to bodywork and structural work. We also stock a wide range of genuine parts and accessories and can order in anything we don't have on the shelf.
Servicing & Maintenance
Do you offer a valeting service?

Whether your trailer has been left to gather green moss or simply needs a thorough refresh, we've got it covered. Our service includes cleaning of living areas, cabs, horse areas, and even those hard‑to‑reach places like the roof. Do I need a licence to tow a trailer?
Whether you need a licence to tow a trailer depends on the country you are in. In the UK, towing laws have recently been updated and are now more relaxed for most drivers, allowing more people to tow without needing an additional test. However, it's still important to understand the specific requirements and ensure you are towing safely and legally. You can find the latest official guidelines and detailed information on UK towing regulations here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/inf30-requirements-for-towing-trailers-in-great-britain

Can you supply and fit a towbar or electrics?
We may be able to assist with towbar and electrical fitting depending on the vehicle make and model. As requirements can vary significantly between manufacturers, we’d recommend first checking with your vehicle dealership for compatibility and manufacturer requirements. Once you have those details, we can advise on the options available and whether we’re able to help.

Are your trailers fitted with anti-theft or security marking?
Security features can vary depending on the trailer make and model. All trailers carry manufacturer serial numbers and chassis identification, and we can also advise on additional security options such as hitch locks, wheel clamps and tracking devices to help protect your trailer.

What should I do if my trailer is stolen?
Report the theft to the Police as soon as possible and ask for a crime reference number. Then get in touch with us with the crime reference, the trailer's make and model, serial number, the date it was stolen and the police force you reported it to, and we'll help register it on the manufacturer's stolen trailer database (such as the IWT/TER register) so it's flagged if it's offered for sale or stopped on the road. We always recommend keeping a record of these details somewhere safe before anything happens.

Anything Else?
I can't see my question here, what should I do? No problem. Just give us a call or drop us a message via the contact form and we'll come straight back to you. We'd much rather have a quick chat and get you the right answer than have you guess.
